The Somerset Hills Fencing Club SHFC was started 3 years ago by a group of parents at the request of Bernard's High School coach Glenn Blekicki. The goal was to provide a forum for younger local student athletes to learn and develop fencing skills and a love of the sport before they went out for the High School varsity fencing team. The Club is open to all local Middle School students in the sixth through eighth grades from BMS, Bedminster or St Elizabeth's. The Club promotes team spirit and a supportive environment to learn about this exciting collegiate and Olympic sport.
